Hush, Little Baby

You feel it deep within as soon as you see her; an echo of something you've been craving for a long time.

You barely fight Sam on the plan; you let him be the bait, so that you can be the protector. You'll vet the temporary family; make sure she's safe until the time comes.

You've felt this before; with Sam, Ben, and maybe even Emma. But like the Darkness said, this does feel different; the three of you belong together, a true family, and their call is burning a new Mark just above your heart.

Soon, you'll be reunited.

A/N - I was thinking about why the Darkness took a female form for Dean, and thought that I'd allude to more of a 'family' vibe; with Dean, the Darkness, and their baby.

That's an interesting possibility to play around with--The Darkness making itself into a woman who would appeal to Dean and then creating a child; essentially creating Dean his own family, knowing how important family is to Dean. I mean, there was a lot of black fog. Who's to say, at this stage, that the Darkness didn't split itself up into more than one 'person'? Intriguing idea.

Thank you for stopping by. It does seem like Show is heavily hinting that the Darkness and the baby are the same thing, but I thought I'd take the opportunity to explore this avenue while we're still early on in the season, and everything is still a little 'up in the air'.

I find it an interesting possibility that the Darkness would take Its bond with Dean a little further, to have a family of three (literal, or not!) to take advantage of his strong family values. And yes, there was a lot of black fog, so I guess the possibilities are endless!! Thanks again for reading :)
