Hush, Little Baby

You feel it deep within as soon as you see her; an echo of something you've been craving for a long time.

You barely fight Sam on the plan; you let him be the bait, so that you can be the protector. You'll vet the temporary family; make sure she's safe until the time comes.

You've felt this before; with Sam, Ben, and maybe even Emma. But like the Darkness said, this does feel different; the three of you belong together, a true family, and their call is burning a new Mark just above your heart.

Soon, you'll be reunited.

A/N - I was thinking about why the Darkness took a female form for Dean, and thought that I'd allude to more of a 'family' vibe; with Dean, the Darkness, and their baby.

And yes now that you mention it, it did seem weird that both Dean and Sam left the baby with the infected father for so long, and if Dean felt that she was connected to the Darkness, that would explain a lot. Great point!

It's also kinda eerie to think about the three of them being connected together, like some sort of 'uncanny' family.
