My love for H/C has been around for as long as I can remember - in SPN, as well as a lot of other TV shows/books/movies etc, especially if it's a character that I'm fond of, or hold dear to my heart. Perhaps it's a mothering thing, and part of me wants to fix them? Or maybe it's just the image of a hero showing vulnerability? Whatever it is, I love it.

For SPN I especially love hurt!Sam with a side of caring Dean (and hey, if he's suffering a little too that's a bonus!) I love to see the Winchester's show their vulnerable side, and with h/c you often get the benefit of seeing their brotherly bond shine through all that fear and worry.
