Hush, Little Baby

You feel it deep within as soon as you see her; an echo of something you've been craving for a long time.

You barely fight Sam on the plan; you let him be the bait, so that you can be the protector. You'll vet the temporary family; make sure she's safe until the time comes.

You've felt this before; with Sam, Ben, and maybe even Emma. But like the Darkness said, this does feel different; the three of you belong together, a true family, and their call is burning a new Mark just above your heart.

Soon, you'll be reunited.

A/N - I was thinking about why the Darkness took a female form for Dean, and thought that I'd allude to more of a 'family' vibe; with Dean, the Darkness, and their baby.

I like the idea of the Darkness taking advantage of Dean's protectiveness and strong feeling towards family, and then using that to sustain Its bond with him. Seeing them as a family of three is all kinds creepy wonderful *shudders with you*
