The fight scene is one of my favourite scenes too; I think Jared needed to hear it, and I think Jensen was maybe the only person in Jared's life that would tell him how it really is.
I'm really happy that you enjoyed the progression of those relationship too. I was worried it might come across as all being too fast, but it's an intense period of time for both characters, and it seemed to me that together they bring out the best in each other.
