10.18 Book of the Damned - Episode reaction (well, squee) and art/fic request!!!

So I don't do this often, mostly because my talented flist does it way better than me. So I guess this is a more of a squee-I-loved-this-episode post, than an actual episode reaction.

SQUUEEE, I loved this episode so hard. It had light moments, it had bro mos ("Sand between our toes, Sammy."), it had beautiful teary-eyed Sam pov (I'm sold any time Sam even mentions Jess), it had Dean in a grey hoodie and in an awesome fight scene, it had badass Charlie, it had Cas's exploding book grace, Charlie actually met Cas, and to top it all off we had a group beer and pizza party. And the ending, oh Sammy, the ending. My guts are still in knots, and I'm scared about the future, but in a terrified and excited feely way. Everybody involved in this episode kicked it in the ass!

But what I really need right now is art and fic about Sam and Dean's toes in the sand because we need to celebrate and enjoy this wonderful bro-mo imagery now before it's too late, and we're knee-deep in the crap that's just over the horizon!! So bring it flist, I'm ready!!! :)

I'm there with you, Madebyme. This ep rocked. Sam broke my freakin' heart, and then my heart shattered even more when I went back and listened to the "Behind Blue Eyes" lyrics. Ee gods, those words paired with his devastated face killed me.

\o/ come squee with me!!! There was so much to love about this episode, and the above was just my knee jerk reaction after watching.

Oh yes, how could I forget the music!?! "Behind Blue Eyes' was a killer at the end, and yes, couple that with Sam's face...*gulp*

Snap, me too!!! As gaelicspirit said "[there's] pure enjoyment when the brothers are acting like brothers...the storylines start to zing." For me, this is part of the magic of this ep.

I loved this so hard, but the future is scary place *gulp*

And I really do need flist to give me some 'toes in sand' art and fic. Gorgeous bro-mo imagery.
