In your own space, share a favorite memory about fandom: the first time you got into fandom, the last time a fanwork touched your heart, crazy times with fellow fans (whether on-line or off-line), a lovely comment you’ve received or have left for someone.

Just one - yikes?! I met harrigan way back in my early ffnet days when I was new to fandom, and I found a story of hers that I loved. She then encouraged me to write and post my first fic and offered me help, and she has been betaing my fics ever since. It's a moment that changed my whole fandom experience, and I wouldn't be here if it didn't happen.

There's so many people on my flist who I've connected with and who I call my friends, and these are all memories that I collect and treasure every day.

Exactly!!! I really have learned a lot from her, and I'm still learning. My writing is definitely better with her input and I'm sure I rely on her too much for brainstorming, ideas and so many other things. I'm a lucky girl, for sure! Take care :)
