Title: The Pretty One
Summary: 13.14 Drabble/sort of a rewrite. Mog and Magog discuss the pretty brothers in front of them.

The Pretty One

“They're human. The odour is unmistakable.”

“See how they bicker like children? My coin is on brothers.”

“Brothers? Interesting. Perhaps there is a family resemblance in the cleft of chin.”

“I'll take the pretty one.”

“The pretty one? I would argue that they're both quite pretty indeed.”

“The tall one then.”

“But which one is taller? There is an incline and-”

“Then I'll take the one with the long pretty hair like mine. He is clearly a man of taste.”

“Then I'll happily take the one with the wondrous bowed stance. I find that rather endearing.”

“Let the fight begin.”




A/N: A little light on the Winchester's, but there was still a lot to enjoy! It's always a joy to have Bobby back (although I was disappointed to not see AU Rufus by his side), and I enjoyed the scenes with Mary and adorable shadow puppet Jack, the lovely hurt Dean scene where he reached out for Sam, and Dean's freaked out Sammy when he returned to a rather upturned bunker (and Ice pack Sam was very sweet - just a hint of h/c that I love, because real injuries hurt and I like to be reminded of that. Wasn't there also an episode recently with Dean holding an ice pack to his knee/leg? Love it. More please!) I couldn't resist swapping Sam into the fight between scene with Mog and Magog, because it makes so much more sense to me; brother's fighting brother's, sibling bickering, and the pretty one comment (but this is me talking aka a fangirl who loves both Sam and Dean). As always I'd love to hear your thoughts too; on the episode, on the drabble, on everything (just no spoilers please). It thoroughly did, plus I kinda wanted it to be Sam'n'Dean doing the whole defeating the evil brothers thing, but I always want them fighting side by side.

Exactly!!! That's where they belong - right next to each other, especially in a fight scene! :)

This is how it SHOULD have gone down. Much more interesting this way, and Cas could have tried to not be knocked out by the muppet professor. That would have been refreshing too, having Sam stay conscious all episode.

I think I'm probably a little biased with it would have made so much more sense to brothers vs brothers, with banter from both sides. But hey, it was a fun little drabble to write, so I can't moan too much (but if felt like a missed opportunity to me!) Thanks for stopping by :)
