Title: Death Becomes Her
Summary: 13.19 Drabble. Don't worry about Rowena, she always has a plan.

Death Becomes Her

Samuel's going to kill her. It won't be Lucifer, the latest apocalypse, or even that pesky brother of his. No matter what happens between now and whenever she dies, it will always be Sam.

So of course she'll work with them to save the world and their little family. Of course she'll become their closest of allies. Of course she'll work her way into Sam's life, make him trust her, make him forget that once upon a time all she cared about was herself. She'll rewrite her own story.

After all, you keep your friends close, but your enemies closer.



A/N: Rowena is always fun, so this was a treat for me! I also enjoyed the vast majority of the heaven story line (although I think they could have condensed it somewhat) but I think it's an interesting development, especially seeing Naomi again and the idea of the fallen souls and ghosts filling the planet piques my interest. Finding out that Sam's going to kill Rowena was a great twist, and I liked how that bonds the two even further. Whether she'll become a true ally, or whether she'll play with them is another story and something I chose to develop here (sorry about the title I just couldn't resist, even if it perhaps doesn't work!) Keep your enemies closer. Yes, for sure, very Rowena! And seeing as how we can all see how much Sam doesn't want to kill her...it makes for great intrigue. :)

Absolutely!!! It could happen in so many different ways, for so many different reasons, but seeing how Sam will get to that point fascinates me.

One thing that I love about Rowena, is that you never really know if she's on your side; she's all about self preservation. So is this a new Rowena, or simply the old one doing what benefits her most? Take care and thanks for stopping by :)

I love this, it's so Rowena and I love the last line - and the title works perfectly! I really hope you're right and she'll become an ally, even if it's just to save her own life. She's such a great character.

I really liked the episode, so many good moments with Rowena and Bernard's dance, the depressed angel, the couple in the lift, Rowena trying to attack Billie, Dean's face when Billie said 'see you soon' and Sam's face when he hesitated before pulling the trigger on Rowena. He really didn't want to kill her, and I loved how hurt she was that he actually tried.

Thank you!!! I've always been fond of Rowena, and how you never really know whose side she's on (apart from her own of course!) I wonder if she has truly changed, or if maybe she's playing a long game in the hope of saving herself. That's why I love her - you just never really know.

But yes, there was a lot to enjoy in this episode!! Even the Angel parts were quite interesting (although I feel they could have edited it down a little and jumped straight to Naomi). Thank you for stopping by :)
