Hush, Little Baby

You feel it deep within as soon as you see her; an echo of something you've been craving for a long time.

You barely fight Sam on the plan; you let him be the bait, so that you can be the protector. You'll vet the temporary family; make sure she's safe until the time comes.

You've felt this before; with Sam, Ben, and maybe even Emma. But like the Darkness said, this does feel different; the three of you belong together, a true family, and their call is burning a new Mark just above your heart.

Soon, you'll be reunited.

A/N - I was thinking about why the Darkness took a female form for Dean, and thought that I'd allude to more of a 'family' vibe; with Dean, the Darkness, and their baby.

Thank you for stopping by, what a lovely comment! It was fun to sneak in the idea that they were three separate members of a family, and how the Darkness could manipulate Dean's strong family values and protectiveness.

Aww, Dean and his family values! Very cool, that you would play on that! Also - I agree that Amara is not necessarily even The Darkness! She could be a new lock (I mean, they are borrowing fron Buffy anyway....), or - anorher force freed, another thing that is still unknown - the zombies weren't necessarily part of The Darnkess, so maybe Amara/Amar's state isn't either?!

There's just so much they're teasing us with at the moment; questions and half answers, and then new questions posed, and I love all the possibilities that that creates! It's an exciting time!
